The Azure Assault Dragon was released on September 9th, 2012.
They are the first seasonal breeders, being common in September through February, then uncommon in March through August.

| The Azure Assault Dragon is a mountainous breed, preferring to roost in the higher altitudes. They live solitary lives because they are extremely aggressive and territorial, especially the larger females. Ferocious fighting ensues amongst this species during the mating season, often resulting the death of a mate or rival. The Azure Assault lays at least one large clutch of eggs in the late fall. The females bury the eggs before the first snow, leaving the hatchlings to fend for themselves when they hatch in the spring. |
