Deatheater dragons were a Halloween event dragon in 2013 along with the Honey Maize Dragon. They were officially available from the 27th October. Once completing the mini-quest a Trick or Treat option was given. Pressing Trick rewarded eggs from this dragon.

Death-eater dragons feed on carrion and are most often found hanging around refuse pits and graveyards. This unusual dragon not only eats the decaying bodies it finds there, but also feeds upon the energy given off by the act of decay and death itself. This means that if a death-eater comes upon a body soon after its demise the dragon can actually suck out the death energy and shock the body back to life, hence the origin of its name. However, if the corpse has suffered too much predation damage, or if this damage was the cause of its death then nothing will bring it back.
