| Sun-up dragons love to bask in the glow of the morning sun. Prior to sunrise, groups of sun-up dragons will gather in open areas where they can watch the sight properly. Males will often sing during the half light and if a female hears a song she likes, she will finish his duet. The pair will then spend the day together and attempt to breed. Their eggs must be warmed by the morning sun in order to grow properly. As the sun rises, it pierces the eggs shell, streaking it with color and stimulating the life within. If the egg is not exposed to a sunrise within 24 hours of it being laid, the embryo inside will die. |
