Highlands Dragons are a Christmas dragon released on December 28?, 2014 and dropped for two or three days.
This egg is slightly furry.
With a creak and a crack, the egg pops open! The hatchling is small but very fluffy.
Except for its "wings," the only thing that seems to be growing on this hatchling is its fur. Even its tail is fluffier.
The stocky, slow moving Highlands dragon lives in snowy regions, typically high in mountain ranges. Their feet are extra large and covered with fur to act as snowshoes. Their fur is so thick that if they sit and pull in all their limbs and head, they look like balls of fur with horns, giving them supreme protection during heavy storms. Although their wings are reduced and useless for flight, they are integral for balance when climbing and jumping in rough mountain terrain. Despite being known for not going anywhere fast, they make excellent work dragons - their strength enables them to pull heavy sleds. Ones owned by humans always have a belled collar, which the dragons treasure.
