Official Descriptions

Egg icon Egg
This pink and blue egg is wet.
Hatchling icon Hatchling
With a creak and a crack, the egg pops open! A small hatchling shakes the shell bits off vigorously.
Hatchling s2 icon Mature Hatchling
This young hatchling is growing very strong. It's rather awkward on land, although it's very graceful in the water.
Adult icon Adult
Selyanth divers are no larger than a common duck. Their toes are mostly webbed together, making it awkward for them to walk on land. In the water, however, Selyanths become remarkably maneuverable. They can hold their breath for several minutes at a time, allowing them to dive to the bottom of lakes and rivers in search of food: insect larvae, small fish, and plant material. Although they have scales on their undersides, they are thin and flexible, offering protection from scrapes but not from attacks. These dragons prefer to lay their eggs in small, isolated pools of rainwater, and the parents give only minimal care to the hatchlings.
